KAPPA ΩMEGA ALPHA
Alpha Chapter at the University of Michigan

Treasurer
James Hendrickson
My name is James Hendrickson, I'm from the most boring town you'll ever see, Troy, MI; and I am a Sophomore here at UofM!
What I am studying: I will be applying to the Ford School of Public Policy this Winter, and with a minor in Stats and Spanish.
My Position: As Treasurer, I control the money, the mula, the cash, the $$$$$$$$$$$. My job is essentially to manage and allocate the funds that we receive from our membership/fundraisers, and make sure that we are giving back to the fraternity appropriately.
Favorite Part about KOA: Everyone says the people, so I will be the hipster to say I really enjoy the professional opportunities. This fraternity has so many resources and great, experienced people that are so willing to help or throw you a bone; I have been incredibly fortunate to have had the guidance of fellow fraternity members who have gone through the same things that I am going through now. It creates a really fantastic family atmosphere, where everyone genuinely wants each other to succeed.
Favorite Professional Gig: This past Summer I worked with the ACLU of Michigan working on legal research and policy writing. It was really an incredible experience, so if anyone is interested in anything in the realm of public interest, I would love to talk to you!
Random Fact: If any of you out there think you can take me at Karaoke, be prepared to face a vocal smack-down from a cross between Rihanna (before the vocal training) mixed with the confidence of Beyonce.
Feel free to contact me at jrhendr@umich.edu with any questions or for the sake of discussion.
