Professional Development
Nicolette Taber
Hi there! I'm a sophomore from the foreign, quaint town of St. Louis, Missouri. I was the first person from my high school to attend Michigan in the past decade.
What I am Studying: I am currently majoring in political science and trying to add on a psychology major as well.
What my position does: I am the professional development chair, which means that I am responsible for planning all professional events and workshops.
Favorite part about KOA: My favorite thing about KOA is how truly down to earth everyone is. I am extremely thankful to have such fun, spunky people in my life. Also, Rasika Karnik is the best
Favorite Professional Gig: I worked on a state senate campaign last summer and had a blast. I loved interacting with constituents. I felt like I was on an episode of Scandal when I sat with the candidate and his team watching poll results come in on Election Night.
Random Fact: I am obsessed with St. Louis Blues hockey.
Come join the wonderful KOA family! We can't wait to meet you. If you have any questions about KOA, professional development feel free to e-mail me at ntaber@umich.edu
