Philanthropy Chair Hannah Horobin
I'm a sophomore from the Boston area in Massachusetts!
What I am studying: I'm studying History and American Culture
My Position: I'm philanthropy chair, which means I serve as a liaison between the fraternity and our current charity, Believe in Miracles. I also organize fraternity-wide service events and organize fundraising for Professional Greek Week.
Favorite Part about KOA: My immediate answer is, like most, the people. I also appreciate that KOA provides all members with the opportunity to play a part in shaping the fraternity and its future.
Favorite Professional Gig: This past summer I interned with a non-profit that provides clinic and medical services to homeless women and children in Boston. I spent my time there assisting in the clinics, helping patients with forms and paperwork, and piloting a technology literacy program.
Random Fact: II just filed my forms to become a U.S. citizen! I currently only have British citizenship.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the Fraternity, Philanthropy, or how to help out your community, contact me at hhorobin@umich.edu!
